The Weekly Call With...Michael Bisping

This is a new segment here on MMA Madness. Each week, I'll call up a fighter, shoot the breeze, and put the best of it on here. I just finished up with Michael Bisping who was eager to comment on his upcoming bout with Chris Leben:

Everyone wants to see a stand up battle and that's what I'm gonna try to do. I'm just gonna take him out. It's always my goal to put the guy away in the first round and this fight will be the same.

That's a soundbyte if I ever heard one. The rest of the conversation revolved around Thiago Alves failing to make weight and the extreme respect Bisping has for BJ Penn. Also, Bisping cut to 185 not with a sauna, but with "more fruits and vegetables."

That BJ is one of the greatest of all time, one of the best P4P, and that it would be awesome to see him take on GSP. He also thought that Penn was winning the early portion of the GSP fight.

BJ won the fight the fight with GSP. Everyone knows that. He left his face like he'd just been mauled by a Texas pit bull. BJ went to the club, GSP went to the hospital. I dont need a judge to tell me who won that fight.
